Redwood Falls City Council met Tuesday, Oct. 18 and approved the request to purchase a Kubota snow broom from Kesteloot Enterprises in the amount of $17,408 after staff decided to discontinue contracting for snow removal services at the library and liquor store to instead utilize existing staff and equipment.

The Wabasso Library’s 35th Annual Craft Fair and Turkey Lunch will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Wabasso Community Center. Come and peruse some cool crafts and merchandise from local artisans, and enjoy a hot turkey/BBQ lunch, along with a silent auction, and a book sale. The Craft Fair lasts from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., and lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. One-sandwich plates cost $8 and two-sandwich plates cost $10; comes with chips, pickles, potato salad, and your choice of homemade dessert.
