Hair Company Salon and Spa hires Sydnie Boettger
Sydnie Boettger of New Ulm has accepted a position at Hair Company Salon and Spa in August after graduating from beauty school at the Aveda Arts and Sciences Institute in Minneapolis. Boettger specializes in all services. She said she enjoys applying hair and eyelash extensions, color and highlights, makeup application, textured hair services, and masculine haircuts. Boettger said she is excited to be a part of the community and looks forward to building relationships with new clientele.

St. Anne’s hosts annual open house and drive
St. Anne’s School in Wabasso hosted their annual open house and drive before the start of the school year. During the event, students and families gathered for fellowship, visit their school rooms, and test drive a new car, sponsored by Lockwood Motors of Marshall. During the event, individuals could test drive a variety of new cards, with Lockwood donating $10 to school for each drive. The funds raised help to cover the cost of field trips throughout the year, including trips to the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Science Museum, U of M Extension Office and many others. St. Anne’s School is a Catholic school serving students of all denominations in preschool – 6th grade.
Wabasso senior dining menu through Friday, Sept. 30
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wabasso Senior Dining is only offering home delivery of meals, until further notice. Home delivery is available to those residing in Wabasso, Wanda, Lucan, Seaforth, Vesta, Delhi, Lamberton, Redwood Falls, Clements, Morton, Fairfax, Franklin, Gibbon, and Winthrop. To order a meal, or for more information, call Diane at 507-829-2385. You are asked to call one day prior by noon to order a meal. The cost is $4 a meal for those ages 60 and over; $2 on Thursdays for Wabasso residents. Menus are subject to change.
