Cardinals dominate twinbill

It was a dominating performance by the Redwood Valley baseball team Saturday, May 7 at Memorial Field as they cruised to a non-conference twinbill sweep of BOLD and Springfield. The Cardinal pitching staff was oustanding, allowing just four hits in two games while the offense was more than enough with 26 runs scored in the two games.

Celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week

Skilled nursing care centers and their staff provide a steadfast commitment to providing a high-level of care for their residents. This has never been more evident than the last two years during the pandemic. In addition to protecting and caring for their residents around the clock, during a time of limited visitation and social distancing, staff stepped in and served as family members and friends to ensure that residents had the essential social connections they needed.

Congratulations Redwood Valley FFA!

Redwood Valley FFA sent a record 44 FFA members to the Minnesota FFA State Convention, April 24 to 26, held at the University of Minnesota campuses and State Fairgrounds. They joined the more than 4,700 FFA members, advisors and guests from throughout the state who gathered for the convention sessions, key note speakers, and competition.

Senate passes veterans’ bill to fund Redwood Falls Cemetery, re-enlistment bonuses, housing options, and service bonuses

With unanimous support, the Minnesota Senate on Thursday passed legislation that makes critical investments into Veteran services across the state. This bill includes provisions that provide post-service resources, expand housing options, and fund enlistment and re-enlistment bonuses. The sole focus of this bill is to meet the needs of Veterans across Minnesota.
