The funeral service for Amy Werner, 86, of Belview will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Grace Lutheran Church in Belview. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to the service, 10-11 a.m. all at Grace Lutheran Church. Interment will follow the service at the Grace Lutheran Cemetery. Sweeping all four singles matches the Redwood Valley tennis team opened up the spring season with a 4-3 win over Dawson/Boyd Secondary Monday, April 4 at the RVHS tennis courts. The Redwood Falls Fire Department is happy to announce the return of the Annual Pancake Feed on Sunday, April 10, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join the local firemen at the Redwood Falls Fire Station as they cook and serve up pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice and coffee.
The spring blood drive in Redwood Falls is on Monday and Tuesday, April 18 and 19, from noon to 6 p.m. each day. For a limited time the Red Cross is offering free Covid Antibody testing with your donation, as well as a Red Cross t-shirt (while supplies last) as a thank you.

The Wabasso Area Baseball Association is hosting a Guns and Diamonds Bingo event on Saturday, April 9 at the Wabasso Community Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with food available from Roadhouse Bar and Grill. Bingo will begin at 7 p.m. with chances to win guns, diamonds or cash.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wabasso Senior Dining is only offering home delivery of meals, until further notice. Home delivery is available to those residing in Wabasso, Wanda, Lucan, Seaforth, Vesta, Delhi, Lamberton, Redwood Falls, Clements, Morton, Fairfax, Franklin, Gibbon, and Winthrop. To order a meal, or for more information, call Diane at 507-829-2385. You are asked to call one day prior by noon to order a meal. The cost is $4 a meal for those ages 60 and over; $2 on Thursdays for Wabasso residents. In response to social distancing measures, there are no senior dining activities in Wabasso at this time.
