As we look forward to welcoming visitors to the Wabasso Public Library Open House Saturday, April 23 from 4 to 6 p.m., there is more history to share on the library’s 90 years in Wabasso. Surprisingly, there have been only five head librarians over the last 90 years.

Redwood Valley FFA will be sending 46 FFA members to the Minnesota State FFA Convention, April 24-26. These members will be competing in 10 different CDEs and seven different proficiency areas, earning three state degrees, and representing the Redwood Valley FFA Chapter as Chapter Delegates during convention sessions. When Chapter Two bookstore owner Joni Nieland, former RVHS chemistry teacher, came up with the idea to open a used bookstore she thought it was just what Redwood Falls needed. "When I choose a book, I like to pick up the book, hold the book, and look at the book," said Nieland.
