March 1 through 6, 34 students from the area with 36 entries participated in the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival at St. John School in Redwood Falls. Each participant performed two memorized pieces before a judge who scored his/her performance. The points received are accumulated to earn gold cups.

The Minnesota FFA Alumni Association is inducting Pat Dingels of Redwood Falls into the Minnesota FFA Hall of Fame Class of 2022. Dingels, who serves as executive director of the Redwood Area Development Corporation (RADC), will be recognized at the Minnesota FFA Convention as one of the eight inductees joining the 222 members in the hall of fame on Sunday, April 24.
