The Redwood Area Education Foundation and Kohls-Weelborg Ford of Redwood Falls are hosting a Drive 4 UR School fundraising event Thursday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.  Ford will pay the foundation $20 for each drive, with the opportunity to raise up to $6,000.

According to The Ford Motor Company, Drive 4 UR School began in 2007 as a way for Ford to give back to communities across the country.

The idea was simple: Test-drive a Ford vehicle from a local dealership, and get money for your school. Thousands of events and $35 million in donations later, participants are still test-driving for a cause that they – and Ford – are equally passionate about.

The fundraiser is taking place in the parking lot of the Redwood Valley High School in Redwood Falls.

No appointment is necessary. No sales pressure. You must be 18, with one driver per family.

Everyone is invited to help raise funds to enhance local education opportunities by taking part in the Drive 4 UR School event Oct. 11.
