A number of Redwood County 4-Hers competed at the Minnesota State Fair during the livestock and general encampments.

What follows is a list of the results:

• Logan Wagner received a blue ribbon in Global Connections.

• Lindsay Bernardy received a blue ribbon in Elements of Photography.

• Michael Tauer received a red ribbon in Elements of Photography.

• Rose Frank received a purple ribbon in the Self-Determined project.

• Ashlyn Doering received a blue ribbon in Shooting Sports/Wildlife Management.

• Grant Gronau received a red ribbon in shop.

• Matthew Zeug received a blue ribbon in shop.

• Noah Netzke received a blue ribbon in shop.

• Luke Mages received a blue ribbon in tractor.

• Kelsey Kramer received a blue ribbon for her market barrow.

• Ashtyn Altmann received a blue ribbon for her market gilt and placed sixth in her class.

• Ethan Carlson received a blue ribbon for his shorthorn breeding heifer and placed second in his class.

• Skylar Otto received a purple for her breeding Simmental heifer, placed third in her class and placed fourth overall in the breeding heifer category.

• Sawyer Otto received a purple for his registered market steer and first in his class. He showed the reserve champion Maine-Anjou steer.

• Makenna Winkelmann received a purple for her registered market steer and placed second in her class.

• Thomas Netzke received a purple and placed fourth in his crossbred market steer class. Netzke also participated in the market beef showmanship contest and placed third.

• Kaitlynn Goblish received a blue ribbon for her crossbred dairy junior yearling and placed third in her class.

• Anna Krause received a red ribbon for her red and white dairy spring yearling and placed fifth in her class.

• Elizabeth Coudron received a purple ribbon for her winter dairy Holstein calf and placed 10th in her class.

• Victoria Coudron received a blue ribbon for her dairy Holstein fall yearling and placed fifth in her class.

• Noah Coudron received a blue ribbon for his milking two-year-old goat and received a blue in the showmanship contest.

• Sydney LaVoy received a blue for her milking two-year-old goat and was named the champion unrecorded grade senior doe. She also received a blue in showmanship.

• Tanner Hauger received a blue ribbon for his three- or four-year-old milking doe goat and was named the champion unrecorded grade senior doe. He received a blue ribbon in showmanship.

• Katie Bernardy received a blue ribbon for her bantam breeding pen of chickens.

• Grant Gronau received a blue ribbon for his white egg layer chickens.

• Kelly Bernardy received a red ribbon for her bantam breeding pen of ducks.

• Catherine Maddock received a red ribbon for her individual livestock demonstration.

• Mary Ann Anderson received a purple ribbon for her senior doe rabbit and placed first in her class. She was named the Flemish Giant champion.

• Austin Altmann received a blue ribbon for his Holland Lop senior doe rabbit and placed seventh in his class.

• Tanner Mathiowetz received a blue ribbon for his Netherland Dwarf senior buck rabbit and placed ninth in his class. 

• Colette Mathiowetz received a blue ribbon for her Netherland Dwarf senior doe rabbit and placed first in her class.

• Katelyn Zeug received a purple ribbon for her New Zealand intermediate doe rabbit and placed first in her class.

• Jayden Carlson received a blue ribbon for his black face breeding ewe lamb and placed fifth in his class.

• Lane Guggisberg received a purple ribbon for his black face market lamb and placed third in his class.

• Jackson Guggisberg received a blue ribbon for his black face market lamb and placed fifth in his class.

• Chad Maddock received a purple ribbon for his black face market lamb and placed first in his class.

• Wyatt Guggisberg received a purple ribbon for his white/speckle face market lamb and placed fourth in his class.

• Catherine Maddock received a red ribbon for her white/speckle face lamb and placed eighth in her class.

• Noah Netzke received a purple ribbon for his white-speckle face market lamb and placed second in his class. He was named the reserve champion in the speckle face market lamb contest.

• Miriam Krause received a purple ribbon in Clothes You Make and received the wool award.

• Miriam Krause received a purple ribbon and was named to the fashion revue court of honor.

• The Golden Gophers 4-H Club received a blue ribbon for its club banner.

• James Soupir received a blue ribbon for his computer project.

• Victoria Jorgenson received a blue ribbon for her crafts and fine arts project.

• Justin Bernardy received a red ribbon for his crop science project.

• John Soupir received a purple ribbon for his electric project.

• Mariah Frank received a blue ribbon for her exploring animals project.

• Madilyn Mages received a blue ribbon for her food and nutrition project.

• Mary Ann Anderson received a blue ribbon for her food and nutrition project.

• Catherine Turbes received a blue ribbon for her food and nutrition project.
