Bommersbach scores twice as Redwood Valley edges WEM 22-18

Holding on in the fourth quarter the Redwood Valley football team held of Waterville/Elysian-Morristown 22-18 in a week one match-up.

The Cardinals grabbed an early 15-0 lead on a 9-yard touchdown run from Adam Bommersbach and an 85-yard scamper from Logan Prouty. After the Bucs cut the lead to 15-6, Bommersbach burst through the line and rumbled 65-yards for another Cardinal touchdown to put the visitor’s up 22-6 at the half.
