With the primary election now in the past, those names which will appear on the November general election ballot have been determined.

This past Tuesday (Aug. 14) was also the final day in which individuals could file an affidavit of candidacy for local city and school district openings.

What follows is a list of those who filed for Redwood County’s open seats:

• In Redwood Falls, John Francis Madden and Tom Quackenbush filed for the open position as mayor, Jim Sandgren filed for the open at-large seat and Larry Arentson filed for the open seat in Ward 3.

• In the Redwood Area School District, five candidates filed for the four open seats on the school board, including Jim Boots, Clark Grannes, Tim Joyce, Tony Miller and Erica Plaetz.

• In Belview, Marlo Sander filed to serve as mayor, with Myrle Peterson and Linda Sullivan filing for the open city council seats.

• In Clements, Thomas Groebner filed to serve as mayor, with Wade Scott Dwinnell, Nic Groebner, Jessica J. Schultz and Dennis Stewig filing for the two open seats on the city council.

• Cindy Bell filed to serve as mayor in Delhi, with Larry Bell and Kim Friese filing to serve on the city council. No one filed for the open city clerk position.

• In Lamberton, Lydell Sik filed for the open mayor position, with Leah Bittner, Heather Hacker, David Irlbeck and Julie Senst filing for the two open city council seats. No one filed for the city council special election seat.

• Rindy Filzen filed to serve as mayor in Lucan, with Jerry Jenniges, Megin Nordby and Robert Plaetz filing for the two open seats on the city council.

• In Milroy, Elizabeth “Dolly” Graham and Michael J. Schmitt filed for the open position of mayor, with Cheryl Bowman and Matt Dvorak the two open city council positions.

• In Morgan, Robert Fischer filed to serve as mayor, with Douglas Goodrich and Jamie Kerkhoff filing to serve the two open seats on the Morgan city council.

• Dean W. Baker filed to serve as mayor in Revere, with Robert Albertson and Constance Lambert filing for the two open positions on the council.

• In Sanborn, Andrew Alan Larson and John Schulte filed to serve as mayor, with Edward Cohrs, Mary J, Fennern, Nathan Roiger and Todd Weber filing for the two open city council seats.

• In Seaforth, Charles Rohlik filed to serve as mayor, with Mike Henning and Ryan Kramer filing for the two open seats on the city council. Summer Schoer filed to serve in a special election city council position.

• Jeff Wall filed to serve as mayor in Vesta, with Adam Krause, Michael Naatjes, Ashley Penske and Krista Remiger filing for the two open seats on the city council.

• In Wabasso, Carol Atkins filed to serve as mayor, with no one filing for the two open seats in the city council.

• Greg Hansen filed to serve as mayor in Walnut Grove, with Leonard McLaughlin and Dillon Robinson filing for the two open seats on the city council.

• No one filed to serve as mayor in Wanda, while Lee A. Jenniges and Carolyn Klann filed for the two open seats on the city council. David Kosel filed for the special election post on the city council.

• There were no filings for the Springfield school board.

• Ash Heibel, Doug Mathiowetz and Jennifer Rose filed for the three open seats on the Cedar Mountain school board.

• In the Red Rock Central School District, Kelly Heather-Pfarr filed for the open seat in District 1, and William Rogotzke filed for the open seat in District 3.

• Scot Bowman, Kathleen Kesteloot and Sara Lipetzky filed for the three open seats on the Milroy school board.

• No one filed for the three open seats on the Tracy school board.

• In the Wabasso School District, Tom Carlson, Ann M. Doubler, David Eis, Caroline Netzke and Travis Welch filed for the four open seats on the board.

• Jason Algyer, Nicole Brown, Maury Kuehl, Maydra A. Maas and Greg Madson filed for the three open seats on the Westbrook-Walnut Grove school board.
