The Redwood Valley tennis team wrapped up the team portion of their regular season schedule with a recent 5-2 win over MACCRAY in Clara City.

The Cardinals swept all three doubles matches and took two of the four singles matches to come away with the road win.

Conner Thordson was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at third singles and Jack Frank won by forfeit at fourth singles.  Andrew Muetzel played well in a tough 6-1, 6-7, 10-8 loss at third singles.

The first doubles unit of Cam Sommers and Xander Seaman won 6-4, 6-4, Josiah Hultquist and Payton Nelson earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at second doubles and the third doubles team of Brian Bucholz and Jacob Zollner rolled to an easy 6-0, 6-0 win. The Cards fell 7-0 to Worthington in Section 3A play and will now gear up for the individual tournament.
