Spring is right around the corner.
As has often been done this time of year, Redwood Falls Youth for Christ (YFC) will host a spring banquet at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls.
The program will also host its bake sale during that same time. (Feel encouraged to bring items to donate, as well. Pies are especially encouraged.)
This is one of the Youth for Christ program’s biggest fundraising events and helps keep it afloat financially. The banquet will be held May 6 in the RACC conference rooms.
Those planning to attend are asked to arrive shortly after noon to join them for a meal (you may also choose to arrive after 1 p.m. to skip the meal, just let them know).
The event will conclude by 2 p.m., and guests are welcome to arrive and begin eating and checking out the bake sale items around 12:15 p.m.
There will be a short program following the meal (Wabasso Roadhouse’s famous burger bar).
Much photographic memorabilia will also be available to take attendees on a trip down memory lane or demonstrate where the program has been and where it is going. Adults will hear about how God has been moving in the lives of local teens over this last year.
Guests are also welcome to look through the stockpile of old photos Youth for Christ has collected over 35-plus years and take whatever items they may like. (The program has gone digital and will need to free up our physical storage this summer).
Youth for Christ especially needs help getting the word out, so more people can attend.
Everyone is encouraged to attend the banquet the first Sunday in May. RSVPs may be made via e-mail at email@example.com or by calling (507) 637-8140. You may also register online at www.yfcminnesota.com.
