The Prairie Arts Chorale, Singers of Southwestern Minnesota under the direction of Cheryl Jeska and Kathryn Reese, invites the public to attend one of its concerts this spring, “Prairie Arts Chorale: By Request.”
Audiences, chorale members and directors have selected pieces from a wide variety of genres – Broadway, jazz, pop and country – to entertain those who attend. Old favorites such as “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “What a Wonderful World,” “California Dreamin’,” “Somewhere” and “Over the Rainbow” will share the program with new pieces.
The upcoming concert schedule includes:
• April 20, 7:30 p.m. at Cross of Calvary Lutheran Church in Olivia
• April 21, 7:30 p.m. at the Estebo Performing Arts Center in Redwood Falls
• April 22, 4 p.m. at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall
• April 28, 7:30 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Montevideo
• April 29, 4 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer.
The Montevideo performance will also feature The Chord-Ayres men’s chorus.

Tickets are available in various business places in the communities where the concerts are held, from chorale members or at the door before the concert. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
There is no charge for children or students under 18.
These concerts are funded, in part, by a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council through an appropriation from the Minnesota state legislature with money from the state’s general fund.
