The Redwood-River Valley wrestlers went a perfect 4-0 over the weekend, winning four dual meets in Arlington to improve to 11-7 overall.

In their closest match of the day, the Badgers topped Blue Earth Area 39-31. The Badgers had a big rally beginning at 160 where Devin Johnson earned a 15-0 technical fall. Eric Bommersbach followed with a first period fall at 170, Adam Bommersbach also recorded a first period fall at 182 and Mason Rummel needed just 50 seconds to score a pin at 195. Kaleb Haase would pick up six points on an injury default at 220 to close out the match. Omar Arredondo earned an 11-1 major decision at 132, Owen Bertram was a 7-2 winner at 113, and Tayte Harazin picked up a 5-3 overtime win at 145.

The Badgers also defeated Osseo in a tight match 41-30. Bertram was a 17-0 technical fall winner at 113, Arredondo earned a fall at 132, Harazin won by fall at 145, Johnson earned a fall at 152 and Adam Bommersbach picked up a fall at 182. Trailing 30-29 with two matches to go, the Badgers got a fall from Haase at 220 to take the lead, and Chad Maddock would cap off the win with a second period fall at heavyweight. Carter Brandt lost a tough 7-6 decision at 106, Eric Bommersbach fell 3-2 at 160 and Maverick Goblirsch lost a tough 5-3 decision at 126.

The Badgers rolled to an easy 60-18 win over St. James Area. Bertram (113), Matthew Zeug (138) and Maddock (Hwt.) all won by fall, while Arredondo (132), Harazin (145), Eric Bommersbach (160), Adam Bommersbach (182), Rummel (195) and Haase (220) won by forfeit. Brandt fell 9-8 in a close battle at 106.

The Badgers also destroyed Minneapolis North 68-6. Haase earned a 37 second fall at 220, Maddock needed just 53 seconds for a fall at heavyweight, Goblirsch won by fall in 25 seconds at 126, Joseph Anderson won 11-1 at 132 and Omar Arredondo was a 14-0 major decision winner at 138. Brandt (106), Bertram (113), Harazin (145), Johnson (152), Rummel (160), Eric Bommersbach (170) and Adam Bommersbach (182) won by forfeit.
