1 – The ninth annual Redwood County United Way Jail and Bail is being held Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Scott-Preusse in Redwood Falls. This is one of the biggest fundraising events the local United Way conducts during the year.
2 – The Redwood Falls Friends of the Library is hosting its fall book sale Oct. 26-28. The sale is open Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. until noon.
3 – A grand opening celebration is being held at Lakeside Manor in Redwood Falls Oct. 26 from 1-6 p.m. All are encouraged to attend.
4 – A River Valley Fall Festival is being held Oct. 28 in Morton. The festival, which runs from 12-8 p.m., will feature a variety of special demonstrations, games and food. All are invited to attend.
5 – The annual Francois Haunted Hotel will be open Oct. 27 and 28 from 7-10 p.m. each night. In addition the Monsters on Main Street will be held Oct. 28 from 4-6 p.m. on Second and Washington Streets in Redwood Falls.
