In early September 2017, the first resident of the newly remodeled Lakeside Manor apartment complex moved in to their new home.
Since then, many others have joined as residents at the site along Minnesota Street in Redwood Falls, and today there are 30 residents living there.
After a fire gutted the facility, years of effort were made to get the site reopened, and this coming Thursday the public has the opportunity to go in and take a look at what has been done.
An open house is being held at Lakeside Manor Oct. 26 from 1-6 p.m.
During that time, those who stop by will be able to take a look at two of the units that have been staged to give them an idea of what life might be like for them if they ever decided to call the site their home.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 1 p.m., with tours of the facility provided during the open house celebration.
In addition, those who might be interested in becoming a resident at Lakeside Manor will be guided through the application process.
Refreshments are being served.
All are invited to attend the open house at Lakeside Manor later this week.
