1 – The Strong You Community Health Expo is being held Thursday, Oct. 5 from 1-6:30 p.m. at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls. The event includes a variety of presentations throughout the afternoon, with a keynote address by Lisa Rambo starting at 5 p.m. Healthy concessions, food demos, fun for the kids and much more are part of the event. All are invited.

2 – The Redwood Valley High School football team hosts its Homecoming game Friday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. Prior to the game, the Redwood Valley Booster Club is hosting a tailgate fundraiser starting at 5:30 p.m.

3 – The Greater Redwood Area Suicide Prevention (GRASP) Walk for Life is being held Saturday, Oct. 7 starting at 10 a.m. at the lower shelter of Ramsey Park. The event is held to raise funds for suicide prevention events in the Redwood area. The public is encouraged to attend.

4 – St. John School in Redwood Falls is hosting a rummage sale fundraiser at the school from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 in the gym. All proceeds from the sale go towards the St.John Youth Group to help offset costs for attending the 2018 WELS International Youth Rally. Lunch is also being served.

5 - The Redwood Falls Farmers Market is open Saturday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the parking lot at Bridge and Washington streets in Redwood Falls.
