Work to repair concrete panels in Redwood Falls will begin this coming Monday (July 24). Concrete on TH19/US 71 between the Redwood River Bridge to Swain Street and on US 71 from 11th Street to 2nd Street will receive spot repair.

The project will not require a detour, but it will include alternating lane closures. Motorists should anticipate delays.

Construction is expected to be finished, weather permitting, by Aug. 5. A width limit of 11 feet and weight limit of 80,000 pounds will be in effect. Interstate Improvement, Inc. is the contractor on the project.

The Minnesota De-partment of Transportation (MnDOT) is asking motorists to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones. Motorists who speed through a work zone or who disobey work zone flaggers face a $300 fine.
