An informational meeting on buffers will be held July 18 at the Wabasso Community Center. The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m.
The Redwood Soil and Water Conservation District along with the Redwood County Environmental Office, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Farm Service Agency will be hosting a meeting for Redwood County producers. The purpose of the meeting is to provide updated information on buffer law.
There have been updates and changes in several areas that could have an impact on individuals required to establish buffers along public waters or public drain-age systems.
Presentations will include: a buffer law up-date, CRP update, buffer strip standard update, CREP and enforcement of the buffer law.
