Jason E. Leith, 47, of the Lower Sioux Community, formerly of Houston, Texas passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Golden Living Center in Wabasso of natural causes. Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15 at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church on the Lower Sioux Community. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church Saturday. Burial is in St. Cornelia’s Cemetery. Jason Earl Leith was born April 20, 1970 in St. Louis Park to Al and Patricia (Lewis) Leith. He attended grade school in Minneapolis and graduated from high school in Houston. Jason then attended broker school in Texas. He was a top investment broker for Charles Schwab for many years in Arizona. Jason also worked at Jackpot Junction for a while and at Wells Fargo Bank in Minneapolis. He then returned to Arizona and continued to work for Charles Schwab before moving to Houston. Jason loved playing guitar and played in bands in Texas and Arizona. He also enjoyed traveling, golfing and watching sports. Jason is survived by his father Al (Nancy) Leith of the Lower Sioux Community; mother Pat Leith of Houston; brother Allen (Diane) Leith of Brookline, N.H.; niece and nephew: Lauren and Nicholas Leith of New Hampshire; half sisters: Theresa Trusty, Maria Doll, Jackie Doll, Karol Bennett and Karrie Hansen; aunts and uncles: Ruby Minkel, Carrie Bren, Gene and Richard Lewis and Jim Lewis; godmother Geri Leith of Lower Sioux Community; special cousin Virgil Poore of Minneapolis; special friend Kerry Hansen of Minneapolis and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, uncle Mark Lewis, aunts: Shirley Poore and Roberta Leith, cousins: Dawn Bren, Kevin Welch, Connie Johnson and TJ Leith and great-uncle Jimmy Leith.
