The Wabasso Lions Club is hosting its 46th annual pork BBQ this coming Wednesday (June 28) at the community center.

The meal is being served from 5-8 p.m.

The evening will also include a number of events beginning with polka music by Dain’s Dutchmen from 5-8 p.m. and a kids’ pedal pull with registration at 6:30 p.m. and competition starting at 7 p.m.

Other kid’s activities will also be offered during the event, with baseball games also being held at the baseball field starting at 5 p.m.

The concession stand will also be open during the games.

Tickets for the meal are $9 for those 13 and older, with those ages six to 12 eating for $5. Those who are five and under get in for free. A hot dog meal is being offered for $3.

A raffle is going to be part of the festivities, with a variety of items being given away during the event.

Proceeds from the Wabasso Lions Club pork BBQ fundraiser are used to support community projects.
