1 – A wheelchair basketball fundraiser featuring the team from SMSU is being held March 18 in the Redwood Valley schools gym. Doors open at 5 p.m., with games starting at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome.

2 – Boy Scout Troop 70 is hosting an all you can eat pancake breakfast March 19 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the American Legion in Redwood Falls. The public is encouraged to attend.

3 – St. John’s Catholic Church in Morton is having its edible auction March starting at 11 a.m. in the church basement.

4 – The 31st annual Lucan Booster Club St. Patrick’s Day parade is being held March 19 starting at 1 p.m. on the main street of the community. A program follows in the community center. All are invited to Lucan.  

5 – The Redwood Falls Public Library is hosting the last of its travel series presentations March 20 at noon in the library meeting room. The presentation is being offered by Robin Stegner who will talk about India’s sacred places. All are invited to attend.

6 – The third presentation of the 2016-17 Redwood Area Concert Association season is Piano Conversations with Julian Gargiulo. This performance will be in the Estebo Performing Arts Center at Redwood Valley schools in Redwood Falls March 21 at 7 p.m. The concert association is dedicating this concert to Vera Doidge who was a concert association member and supporter of music and arts in her community. A gift from Vera’s family is sponsoring a student mini-concert by Gargiulo at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the PAC. All area piano students, as well as their parents and piano instructors, are welcome to attend. There is no charge for the afternoon concert.
