For the second year in a row, the Redwood Area School District is participating in the summer food service program. The program runs Monday through Friday beginning May 27 and ending Aug. 8. Meals are provided through the program to all children who are 18 and younger at no charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and activities are the same for all, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender or disability. There is no discrimination in the course of the meal service. The meals are being provided at Reede Gray Elementary School in Redwood Falls, with breakfast being served from 8-9 a.m. and lunch served from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The program is operated through the United States Department of Agriculture and prohibits discrimination of any kind through the implementation of its programs.
