Wade Mathers, current RVMS principal, is moving on to another middle school principal position with the Little Falls school district. Mathers, who submitted his resignation May 2, said it was with mixed emotions that he resign from his role in the local district. “I have the deepest respect for the faculty and staff of Redwood Valley Middle School and very much enjoy spending each day with our students,” wrote Mathers in his resignation letter. “Being part of the district’s administration team over the past 11 years has been a privilege and an honor.” Math-ers is going to finish out the current school year, with his resignation effective June 30. Mathers wrote he has thoroughly enjoyed working for the Red-wood Area School District and could not be more grateful for the opportunities provided to him and his family. “Everyone I have had the great privilege to work with has been wonderful,” he added.
