One way to track a town’s progess over the decades is to do “then and now” photo comparisons; browse through the photos to see how the town looked in the past, compared to the same sites today.
One way to track a town’s progess over the decades is to do “then and now” photo comparisons. Here are a few of the downtown area of Redwood Falls. This is the first installment of a new series, "Redwood Then and Now" we'll be doing until next June, when the city turns 150 years old. The old photos, from a variety of sources, come to us from the late Gary Revier's collection. The new photos were taken this past week by staff photographer Joshua Dixon, trying to duplicate the older photos as closely as possible. Enjoy!
