  • The Redwood Area Dementia Network invites you to "The Basics of Alzheimer's Disease" presented by Jenna Herbig, Western Regional Director of the Alzheimer Association on Tuesday, November 5th – 6 PM at Garnette Gardens Assisted Living, 511 Dekalb Street, Redwood Falls.
This program will provide you with basic information that everyone needs to know about memory loss issues and what they mean for all of us. Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging.
If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia, it's time to learn the facts. This program provides information on the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's Disease, detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, treatment and much more.
Throughout this program you will see video clips of people whose lives have been directly affected by Alzheimer's disease in its earliest stages. You will hear from some of the nation's leading medical experts about memory loss and aging.
This program is sponsored by the Redwood Area Dementia Awareness Network. For more information contact, Ron Dolan, Garnette Gardens at 637-8500 ext. 19 or Karen Christensen, Redwood County Volunteers at 627-1016.
