  • Kathleen Agnes Rohlik Boehmig, 51, of Butler, Penn., formerly of Seaforth, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Butler.  A prayer service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seaforth.  Visitation will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Seaforth Cemetery. Online condolences may be placed at www.sunsetfuneralassociation.com. The Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association is caring for the family.
Kathleen Agnes Rohlik Boehmig was born May 4, 1962 in Redwood Falls to John and Clara Rohlik. She attended school in Vesta and graduated from Wabasso High School in 1980.
After graduating from high school she attended Hutchinson Vo-Tech to study early child education. While in Hutchinson, she met Howard Boehmig, Jr., and they married at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Vesta April 23, 1982.
Kathy then moved to Butler, and there she raised her two beautiful daughters, Theresa Marie and Stephanie Ashton. Kathy’s love for life and the people around her was endless. Her family meant the world to her, and she showed that love over and over with her daily phone calls and her yearly trips back home.
Kathy loved going to thrift stores, estate sales, gardening and trips to the casino with her friends. She enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching, but most of all Kathy loved spending time with her with children and her grandchildren.
No one was a bigger Viking fan than she was, and she adored anything John Deere. Kathy’s hugs were bigger than her, and if you met her once, you were immediately her friend.
Kathy died unexpectedly October 12, 2013 at the age of 51 years.
She is survived by her mother Clara Rohlik, two daughters, Theresa (Eric) Kriberney, Stephanie and special friend Matt Field and her grandchildren, Mason Eric and Ellie Marie Kriberney;  siblings, John (Holly) Rohlik of Vesta, Bernie (Bruce) Bowman of Montevideo, Therese (Ken) Iverson of Echo, James (Laurie) Rohlik of Hutchinson, Brian (Amy) Rohlik of Vesta, David (Gina) Rohlik of Mantorville and Shelly (Jack) Sagedahl of Wabasso. She is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and       -nephews along with numerous cousins and aunts and uncles.  She was blessed with many friends from Minnesota to Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her father John Rohlik, Sr. and her nephew Alan Iverson.
    Blessed be her memory.
