Wayne Timm, 69, of Morgan passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Morgan. Visitation at the church will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. preceding the funeral service. A private burial will be held at a later time.
Wayne Everett Timm, the son of Everett and Vernice (Leupke) Timm, was born November 26, 1943 in Springfield. He attended schools in Redwood Falls and graduated from Morgan High School. Wayne married Maxine Bloemke on May 2, 1965. They shared 46 years of marriage and were blessed with three children.
Wayne held a variety of jobs with the longest being at Becker’s Super Valu as a produce manager and at Jackpot Junction as a blackjack dealer. He was also a member of the Morgan Fire and Ambulance Department and retired after 20 years of service. He and his family also spent much time working in the family lawn mowing business.
Over the years, Wayne enjoyed camping trips with his family, attending local car races, playing cards, golfing at Mayflower Country Club near Fairfax, and building model train sets.
He is survived by his children Pamela (Steven) Ardolf of St. Peter, John Timm of Morgan, and Jeffrey (Audra) Timm of Richfield; grandchildren Holly, Alex, Christina, and Jordan; and sister Carol Dittbenner of Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine, his parents, and two sisters in infancy.
