  • Ronald Michael Fischer, 51, formerly of Albert Lea, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at Golden LivingCenter in Wabasso after a courageous battle with melanoma.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso. Interment was in St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery.

    Ronald Michael Fischer was born January 31, 1962 in Redwood Falls to Werner and Monica (Pistulka) Fischer. He attended Wabasso Public and Mankato Technical Schools.
    Ronald had a flair for photography. He enjoyed playing cards, gaming, and visiting with friends. Ronald was an animal lover.
    Ronald is survived by his parents Werner and Monica Fischer of Wabasso; siblings: Sherri (Rich) Oxley of Andover, Jim (Jan) Fischer of Scottsdale, Ariz., Dave (Michelle) Fischer of Flower Mound, Texas, Ken (Sunny) Fischer of Gilbert, Ariz. and Nanci (Mike) Calvin of Raymond.  
    He is preceded in death by his grandparents Agatha and Nick Fischer, Sr. and Margie and Tony Pistulka.
