The annual community worship service is again being held on the grounds of the Redwood County Fair, but this year’s event is going to be a little bit different than what has happened in the past.
According to Mike Moser, Cornerstone church pastor, the service is not going to be a traditional worship time.
Rather, the music group Heart Song Ministries is going to present a concert starting at 10:30 a.m.
“Heart Song is a family ministry that travels to different churches and fairs to share the Gospel,” Moser said, adding they play a mix of music styles that should appeal to people of all ages.
The worship is going to include special music, as well as music for those who are attending to sing. Moser said someone from Heart Song is also going to present a message.
Moser said those who have been helping to coordinate the event are excited about the event.
The service is free and open tot he public, and those planning to attend can get on the grounds of the fiar for free during the service. Moser said those who come need to go to the gate after the service to pay the price of fair admission if they plan to stay.
A free will offering for the group is being taken.
