The annual community celebration known as the Redwood County Fair is scheduled to start later on this week.
While the fair doesn’t officially begin until Thursday, there are events that have been scheduled starting Wednesday.
That night at 8 p.m. a pre-fair kickoff event featuring DJ “Chopper” is being held on the fairgrounds. Admission is free.
That same day from 2-8 p.m. open class entries are being accepted.
The Thursday night entertainment includes the Austin Healy Band starting at 8 p.m. with Hairball playing as well.

Another stage is also being set up with music during the day, including a performance by Beg For Justice at 5 p.m. Friday, with the band Stained Glass playing at 7 p.m.
