The Redwood County Museum is going to be hosting Steve Paulsen at 2 p.m. this coming Sunday.
Paulsen is scheduled to offer a presentation on the “Geologic History of the Minnesota River Valley from Stardust to Ice.”
Paulsen, a former Badlands National Park Ranger with degrees in geology and computer science, is going to be presenting a one hour slide presentation covering the earth’s formation from supernova remnants, the forming of ancient mountain ranges in Minnesota and what the moon has to do with the Ice Ages.
The public is invited to come and join him as he discusses the rock outcroppings in this area, glaciers that once carved the Minnesota River Valley during the ice age, and the importance of the River Warren.
Bring the whole family for this unique historical learning experience.
The event is a free-will donation at the door.
Refreshments are going to be available.
