The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) committee invites the public to their summer leadership event in Marshall July 26.
The event is set to begin with ag tours at noon, leadership training by American Farm Bureau Federation staff member Jill Casten at 5:30 p.m. and ends with a networking grill out at 6:30 p.m.
Those planning to attend are to meet at Independence Park in Marshall at noon to board the bus.

Tours include Turkey Valley Farms and the Schwan’s Food Ser-vice, Inc.
Turkey Valley Farms packages whole birds, bone-in breasts, tray packs, ground in meats and commodity meats in private or packer labels.
Schwan’s Food Ser-vice, Inc. markets and distributes many branded frozen-food products and meals to schools, hospitals, restaurants and convenience stores throughout the United States. Closed toed shoes and long pants are required for tours.
Minnesota Farm Bureau is comprised of 78 local Farm Bureaus across Minnesota.
Members make their views known to political leaders, state government officials, special interest groups and the general public.
Programs for young farmers and ranchers develop leadership skills and improve farm management.
