The Church of Christ in Lamberton has announced the ninth annual Cycle Sunday motorcycle gathering and worship service is being held this weekend at Kuhar Park near Lamberton. The event is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. with coffee, cookies and bars with time for fellowship with old acquaintances and new friends. There is also going to be time to enjoy seeing the motorcycles riders bring that day.
A worship service, with contemporary and traditional music, is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. During the service a “Screaming Eagle” sermon is going to be offered, challenging all who are in attendance.
The highlight of the morning is the serving of the Lord’s supper, a time to remember Christ died for all of us on Calvary. Riders of all faiths are invited to attend Cycle Sunday.
While the event is called Cycle Sunday, others who do not ride motorcycles are also welcome to attend for the worship.
A lunch follows the service, with a cycle tour after the meal. The route is going to be announced that morning.
