  • A celebration of life will take place Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Morton City Park starting at 1 p.m. for Joel Francis Sindelir, 61, of Sauk Rapids and Dade City, Fla., who passed away July 3, 2013 after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids.

  • A celebration of life will take place Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Morton City Park starting at 1 p.m. for Joel Francis Sindelir, 61, of Sauk Rapids and Dade City, Fla., who passed away July 3, 2013 after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids.
    Joel was born to Joseph and Catherine (Squibb) Sindelir May 20, 1952 in Morton. He graduated from Morton High School in 1970. He married Judy Koerner June 25, 1982 in St. Cloud. Joel retired from Sherco in Becker in 2005 to pursue his love of golf and travel. Joel and Judy spent the last eight years wintering in Florida and traveling across the southwest and Hawaii, while spending summers in Minnesota with family.  
        He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Judy; daughters, Danielle (Jarrod) Elmer of Redwood Falls, Erin (David Frank) Sindelir of St. Cloud; son, Steven (Marissa) Sindelir of Sartell; mother, Catherine Sindelir of Morton; sisters, JoAnn (Earl) Cory of Montana and Cathy Sindelir of Clear Lake; brother, Dick (Julie) Sindelir of Morton; grandchildren, Ashley Kerkhoff, Hannah, Emma and Lucas Elmer, Drew Sindelir and Kyle Henspeter; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Chuck (Brenda) Koerner, Koreen Koerner, John Koerner, Rick (Stacy) Koer-ner, Kris (Ken) Langseth, Jim (Charlene) Koerner, and Suzanne Koerner and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
        Joel is preceded in death by father, Joseph; brother, Steven; father-in-law, John Koerner; mother-in-law, Genevieve Koerner; sister-in-law, Linda Koerner; and brother-in-law, Dennis Koerner.
