Bank night for the 20th Annual American Cancer Society Relay For Life Redwood County teams is this coming Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church dining hall in Redwood Falls. All teams need to be there. Pictures are going to be taken.
All donations collected so far are to be turned in at that time.
Those bringing in funds need to have that cash in the largest denominations possible rather than all dollar bills, and coins should be converted to the next dollar.
Silent auction items for the children’s and adults’ auctions may be brought to this meeting. Many more bingo prizes are needed.
There are two sessions of bingo this year.
Luminary bags turned in should be separated into the two categories, honor and memory.
Bring all completed bags to this meeting.
The 20th Annual American Cancer Society Relay For Life for Redwood County is July 19 at the Gilfillan Estate on Hwy 67 between Redwood Falls and Morgan.
The event starts at 3 p.m. and goes until midnight. There are going to be two bingo sessions, a supper, fundraising stands, several types of food, an opening ceremony, a survivors lap, a team lap and then the public is invited to join the walkers. There are two silent auctions with the items to be paid for and picked up that evening at the close of each auction. One of the highlights is the luminary lighting.
The event also includes a survivors’ garden and more.
The public is invited to attend the 20th annual Relay For Life in Redwood County.
