    Scott Olson was born February 6, 1960 in New Ulm to Emmet and Kathryne (Braun) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed at Central Lutheran Church. Scott graduated from Franklin High School. In July 1985 he was united in marriage to Lynn Greenslit. They were blessed with three sons, Nick, Jake and Matt.
    Scott worked at Activeaid, Willmar Poultry, and was currently employed with Central Bi. This coming summer would mark his 15th year at Central Bi. Scott loved working on cars, watching his sons race and was always helping others with their projects. His pride and joy was being a grandpa. Scott enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, racing and camping. Scott loved going to old car shows. He enjoyed watching “MASH” and “Bonanza” and going down to “the office.” Scott had many talents, including carpentry, woodworking and building motors.
    Scott is survived by his children: Nicholas (Cassandra) of Raymond, Jacob and Mathew, both of Franklin, Carly Roman of Roseville and Corey Rienstra of Ocheyedan, Iowa; fiance Julie Rienstra of Redwood Falls; grandchildren: Elaina Olson and Niehmyah Tranbrock, mother Kathryne Olson of Fairfax; siblings: Diane Olson (Jerry Guggisberg) of Fairfax, Tom (Becky) Olson of Fairfax, Becki (Dick) Schweiss of Hutchinson, Jeff (Nancy) Olson of Fairfax and Sue (Brad) Thompson of Mayer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  
    He is preceded in death by his father Emmet, brother Bob, and nephew Chad Bender.
