The RVHS Class of 2013 may be looking forward to May 19, when they officially graduate from high school, but this past Wednesday was a big night for the class, too.
During the annual Evening of the Stars celebration, members of the senior class were honored through the presentation of scholarships, as well as each of the honor students received the cords they are going to wear as part of the graduation ceremony.
“This is really your night,” said Barb Darr, one of the six Redwood Valley Hall of Fame inductees as she spoke to the seniors during her induction address.
It was a very good night for the Class of 2013.

Both had their names called several times as scholarships were presented to the class.
Koster and Heiling both said they probably put in 10 hours of time filling out scholarship applications, but both were convinced the hard work paid off.
Both also pointed to academics, leadership and volunteer experiences as reasons why they thought they had done so well.
