    Visitation will be May 7 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Sundown Lutheran Church in Sundown Township.
    Service will be held at the Sundown Lutheran Church in Sundown Township Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 10:30 a.m.
    Interment will be at the Sundown Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield.
    Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.

    Warren J. Jensen was born September 24, 1921, to Otto and Tilda (Meyer) Jensen at the family home in Sundown in Redwood County.
    On August 21, 1953 he married Greta Bredvold. They lived and farmed in Sundown Township, Redwood County. To this union three children were born: Jodi, Paula, and Steve.
    Warren was a lifelong member of Sundown Lutheran Church.
    There he was baptized, confirmed and served in many capacities during his lifetime. Warren was a Gideon and a member of the Clements Lions Club. He also served on the school board for School District #1750 and was a member of the Friends of Gilfillan, Farm Bureau, Sundown Saddle Club, and the Minn-I-Kota Arabian Club. He competed in the State and National Corn Husking competitions.
    This kind and loving man is survived by his wife – Greta; daughters – Jodi (Del) Dalsgaard of Springfield, Paula (Jim) Mandeville of Columbus, Mont., son – Steve (Samantha) Jensen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; his seven grandsons – Timothy and Peter Dalsgaard, Benjamin and Steve Mandeville, Parker, Matthew and Christopher Jensen; a brother-in-law – Ralph Steiner and nieces and nephews.
    Warren was preceded in death by his parents; brother – Gordon, and sister – Alva.
