  • Germaine “Gerry” M. Steffensmeier, 60, of Morgan passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Morgan. Visitation will be held May 2 from 5-8 p.m. at the church with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Morgan.

Steffensmeier of Morgan; her three daughters Tracy (Kevon) Peters of Marysville, Wash., Colette (Jeff) Higgins of Mill Creek, Wash., and Rashal Steffensmeier of Morgan; her eight grandchildren: Christian Higgins, Chandler Steffensmeier, Makalya Steffensmeier, Cloey Wildt, Marlie Wildt, Liam Peters, Cameron Higgins, and Cole Higgins; her two sisters Theresa (Thomas) Peterson of Bellingham, Wash. and Betty Phelps of Portland, Ore.; her mother-in-law Gladys Steffensmeier of Morgan; her brother-in-law Lynn Steffensmeier of Morgan; her sister-in-law Charlene (Jim) Koerner of Stanwood, Wash.; brother-in-law Brian (Jodie) Steffensmeier of Sleepy Eye; and many nieces and nephews.
    She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Lorraine O’Neal of Bellingham, Wash., her father-in-law Jack Steffensmeier of Morgan, her sister-in-law Marilyn Steffensmeier of Morgan and her brother-in-law Jim Phelps of Portland, Ore.
