  • Randall Leonard Wenisch, 48, of Springfield died on April 19, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Springfield.
    Visitation will be April 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Springfield.
    Service will be held at the St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Springfield April at 11 a.m.
    The clergy will be Father Mark Mallak. Interment will be at the St. Raphael’s Catholic Cemetery in Springfield.
    Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.
    Randall Leonard Wenisch was born on November 23, 1964, the son of Richard and Kay (Hotzler) Wenisch. He graduated from Morgan High School in 1983 and attended vocational training for auto mechanics. He worked for Jensen Motors and most recently for Atlas Cold Storage in New Ulm. He was united in marriage to Diane in December of 1997. Randy was a kind, generous person who enjoyed fishing, gardening, snowmobiling, dirt biking, animals, and time with his grandchildren.
    Randy died on Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Springfield.
    He is survived by his children – Nina of Redwood Falls and Ronald of Springfield; grandchildren – Jazmine Peichel, Austin Dolezal, and Robert Ehlers; mother – Kay Guse of Waseca; a sister – Debra (Kevin) Moldestad of Farmington, brothers – Richard (Joan) of Morgan and Mark (Virginia) of Waseca; step-children – Ronald Lowinske and friend Jane Halvorson of Springfield, Edward Lowinske and friend Mindy Rex of New Ulm, Randell Samuel Lowinske and friend Jona Falk of Springfield, Marsha and husband William Campbell of Springfield, and Catherine Burden and friend Morris Hoover of Sleepy Eye.
    He was preceded in death by his father – Richard Wenisch and wife – Diane in December of 2011.
