On April 20, 1943, Marge married Melvin Joseph Hewett in Sioux Falls, S.D. and the couple made their home in Redwood Falls. Marge was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church where she served as a deaconess and Sunday school teacher. She also belonged to the Sunshine Circle. Marge belonged to bowling league; she won several bowing trophies and missed bowling a perfect game by just one pin! Marge also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidering and watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband Melvin on April 23, 2000; brothers Howard and Robert Christenson; and sisters Jocelyn Goodwin, Lucille Tisue, and Alice Mae Christenson.
Blessed be her memory.
