  • Kenneth John Castle, 83, of Redwood Falls passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date.     Kenneth John Castle was born July 25, 1929 in North Redwood to Fay and Hattie (Taubert) Castle. He attended North Redwood School.
    On August 10, 1951 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Pauline Pigg.
    Ken and his brothers owned and operated Castle Brothers Construction for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Redwood Falls. Ken was an avid fisherman. He loved fishing with his brother and woodworking.
    Ken is survived by his five daughters: Connie Castle (significant other Kevin Lance) of Monticello, Va. (Lowell) Daniels of Columbus, Kansas, Joni (James) Jimnak of Maple Grove, Kathryn Castle of Sauk Centre and Karen Castle (Denes Bartha) of New Fairfield, Conn.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Helen Van Slooten, Esther (Warren) Hawton, and Cheryl Prescott, all of Redwood Falls and many other relatives and friends.  
    He is preceded in death by his parents, son Kenny and siblings: Lillian Grow, Don, Arthur, Harold, Alfred “Fritz” and Floyd Castle, Clara Castle, Arlene Stevens and Viola Worth.
