  • The 26 townships in Redwood County held annual meetings March 12, with most conducting elections for a three-year supervisor position and a two-year treasurer term.
    The townships also set the annual levy for the coming year.
    What follows is a list of the information which has been received by the Redwood County auditor-treasurer’s office.
    Information from townships which is not printed had not been turned in to the office at the time this edition went to print.
    • In Brookville Town-ship  Dennis Tauer was elected to the supervisor position, with Lowell Blick elected treasurer, The levy was set at $70,000
    • In Charlestown Township Cory Blom-gren was elected to the supervisor position, with Harley Johnson elected treasurer. The total levey was $65,000.
    • Henry Amberg was elected to the supervisor position in Delhi Township, with Brent Huhnerkoch elected treasurer. The levy was set at $75,000.
    • Joseph Zwach was elected supervisor in Gales Township, with Ronald Wixon elected treasurer. The levy was set at $50,000.
    • In Granite Rock Township Steven Jordan was elected to the supervisor position, with Thomas Moore elected treasurer. The levy was set at $70,000.
    • Troy Otto was elected to the supervisor position, with Nicole Deprez elected treasurer in Johnson-ville Township. The levy was set at $95,000.
    • In Kintire Township, the results of the election were Michael An-derson as supervisor and Glenn Anderson as treasurer. The levy was set at $73,052.
    • Bill Pfarr was elected to the supervisor position in Lamberton Township, with Pam Jensen elected treasurer. The levy was set at $90,000.
    • In Morgan Town-ship, Todd Green was elected to the supervisor position, and Keith Christensen was elected treasurer. The levy was set at $109,000.
    • Bruce Baker was elected to the supervisor position in North Hero Township, with David Doubler elected treasurer. The levy was set at $71,000.
    • Steve Whittet was elected to the supervisor position in Red-wood Falls Township, with Bryan Hagert elected treasurer. The levy was set at $100,000.
    • Mark Malecek was elected to the supervisor position in Paxton Township, with Randy Mages elected treasurer. The levy was set at $70,000.
    • In Sheridan Town-ship the levy was set at $58,000.
    • Joe Faugstad was elected to the supervisor position, with Larry Kirschstein elected to as treasurer in Sher-man Township. The levy was set at $60,000.
    • Werner Fischer was elected to the supervisor position in Vail Township, with Jeremy Waknitz elected treasurer. The levy was sent at $65,000.
    • In Vesta Township, the levy was set at $80,400.
    • In Waterbury Town-ship, the levy was set at $60,000, with Vern-on Bloedow elected as treasurer and Thomas Jenniges elected as supervisor.
