  • Resident dies in Lakeside Manor fire; others displaced.

  • Lakeside Manor resident Gene Gilland, 72, was found unresponsive in his apartment, and was later pronounced dead of fire-related causes after a fire Thursday night led to the evacuation of all of its residents.
