  • A round of cold and flu passing through the area cost the Red Cross a hefty number of donors at the bloodmobile visit to the National Guard Armory this week.
    “As was anticipated, our Monday was plagued with people cancelling appointments due to illness,” said organizer Laura Kohler, who added, “We’ll try again in April!”
    Results:
    • Deferrals: 30
    • Total units collected: 206
    • First time donors: Austin Pendleton, Carlee Heiling (16 year old donor), Bailey Bunting (16 year old donor), Margie Altmann
    • One gallon: Lisa Krinke, William Schwandt, Kayla Balcer, Tanya Busack.
    • Two  gallon: Mike Kaufenberg, Mike Moser, Delores Bunting, Gerald Trullinger, Karae Erie, Cheri Johnson.
    • Four gallon: Lynn Kratz
    • Five gallon: Sandi Reck, Beverly Jensen, Tracy Rasmussen.
    • Six gallon: Ramona Warner, Roger Buboltz.
    • Seven  gallon: Bryan Huwe
