Heavy Seas Beer of Maryland has announced a change, replacing the Mutiny Fleet series with the Uncharted Seas series.

The Uncharted Seas series will feature Heavy Seas’ highest ABV beers, all aged with some kind of wood, available in bombers.

Here’s the rundown of the beers:

January: Siren Noire – An imperial chocolate stout aged in fresh bourbon barrels.

March:  Big DIPA – A double India pale aged with oak spirals.

May:  Holy Sheet – An abbey style ale aged in bourbon barrels.

September: Great’ER Pumpkin – An imperial pumpkin ale aged in bourbon barrels.

December: Yule Tide – A spiced beer aged on wood.

Heavy Seas beers have always been hit-or-miss with me, but a couple of these sound quite good, I’ll definitely give them a try.
