Lois Zimmermann, 76, of Lamberton, died Monday, November 12, 2012, at Valley View Manor in Lamberton.
Funeral services will be Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lamberton with burial in the Lamberton Cemetery.
Visitation will continue for one hour prior to services at the church. Pastor Allen Brakke is officiating.

Lois Mae Zimmermann was born October 19, 1936, in Redwood Falls, the daughter of Hugo and Elsie (Otto) Otto. She attended a country school north of Clements, then Wabasso Public School. Lois was united in marriage to Donald Zimmermann on August 25, 1953, at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. The couple farmed in Waterbury Township before moving to Lamberton in September of 1999. Lois was a former member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where she was active with the Ladies Aid.
She was currently a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lamberton. Lois was a member of Extension Club and was well known for her garden which led to much baking, canning, and preserving. She enjoyed reading, crafts, and traveling but especially enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family as a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by husband Donald of Lamberton; children – Bev Zimmermann of Marshall, Denise (Mike) Pelz of Plymouth, Kevin (Jane) Zimmermann of Lamberton, Roger (Kerri) Zimmermann of Lamberton, and Kari (Dan) Morisette of Minneota; grandchildren – Lindsay Pelz of Marshall, Brittnay (Bryan) Tetrick of Mayer, Amy Zimmermann of Bemidji, Dianne (Ben) Pohlmann of Golden Valley, Mark Zimmermann of Lamberton, Sara Zimmermann of Bemidji, and Kameron, Ryan, Kegan, and Zak Zimmermann, all of Lamberton; great-grandchildren – Finley Pelz of Marshall, and Isaac Pohlmann of Golden Valley; brother Leon (Maxine) Otto of Redwood Falls; sister-in-law Dorothy Otto of St. James; brother-in-law Ray (Jan) Zimmermann of Waseca; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Gregory; brother Norman; sisters – LuVerne and Eunice; brothers-in-law – Leonard, Jim, and Gerald; and sister-in-law Eleanor.
