Audria Engen, 81, of rural Lamberton, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Highwater Lutheran Church in Highwater Township with burial in the church cemetery.
Pastor Michael Stangeland and Pastor Rich Hubert, officiated.

Audria Edith Link was born December 12, 1930, in Faribault, the daughter of Aaron J. and Edith (Adrain) Link. At age 14, Audria surrendered her life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and for the rest of her life spent daily time with the Lord.
Audria went to school in Odessa and Lamberton, graduating in the class of 1948 from Lamberton Public School. She graduated from Saint Lucas Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and then on September 1, 1982 she received her Bachelor of Science in professional arts from Saint Joseph’s College, Standish, Maine. Audria was united in marriage to Arlowe Engen at the E.U.B. Church in Lamberton. Audria was a compassionate and caring registered nurse working for a short-time in Seattle, as well as Rice Memorial Hospital, Willmar, Union Hospital, New Ulm, Lamberton Public School and as charge nurse and director of nurses at Valley View Manor, Lamberton.
Audria was a member of Highwater Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and participated in Sewing Circle and Ladies Aid. She loved her family and knew how to make each one feel special. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, china painting, quilting, wintering in Mesa, Ariz., and baking long johns for her family. She had a great faith in the Lord and made sure that her family knew how to trust Christ with their lives, and she was a prayer warrior.
Those who shared their life with Audria and mourn her passing include children – Karen and Rich Hubert of San Carlos, Mexico, David and Connie Engen of Revere, Keith and Sandy Engen of Lamberton and Kenov and Beth Engen of Lamberton; grandchildren – Matt and Marsha Hubert, Dan and Melissa Hubert, Liz and Nate Brennan, Justin, Clint and Chelsi, Kirk, Ashley and Todd Henry, Mark, Britta, Emily, Thea, Andrew, Fern, Hannah, Luke and Avery Engen; great-grandchildren – Tyler, Brooke, Kailey, Zach and Allie Hubert, Brandt, Payton, Morgan and Carson Hubert, Ava and Ella Brennan; sister-in-law Muriel Link, Windom, brother-in-law James and LuEtta Engen of Lamberton, sister-in-law Joyce Fisher of Littleton, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; grandson Caleb Engen; her brothers Darol and Aaron Link, her sister Irene Anderson and brother-in-law George Fisher, Jr.
