  • Carol Hutchinson, 48, of Redwood Falls died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at her home. Funeral services was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012, from Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with burial to follow the Redwood Falls Cemetery.

    Carol Ann Hutchinson, the daughter of Wilbur and Bridget (Klimek) Snook, was born December 14, 1963 in St. Paul. Her father later married Rebecca Beckenbach.
    The family lived in several towns before moving to Redwood Falls.
    Carol attended Redwood Falls High School, graduating in 1982.
    On June 17, 1983, Carol married Patrick “Pat” Hutchinson. The couple made their home in North Redwood where they raised their sons. Carol worked in the kitchen at the Valley Supper Club for 10 years, then at Wal-Mart for five years before becoming employed by the Redwood Area School District where she worked in the elementary school kitchen.
    Carol is survived by her husband Patrick of Redwood Falls; and sons Christopher (Meghann) Hutchinson of Redwood Falls, and Timothy Hutchinson of Mankato. Also surviving are her siblings Jenny Snook of Wadena, Andy (Laura) Snook of Stewart, Mary (Bruce) Pauly of Jordan, Lucy (Mark) Beach of Wadena, Virginia (Heath) Albertson of Wilmont, Margaret Peterson of Wadena, Lawrence Snook of Lafayette, Jason Snook of Renville and Peggy Snook Ahrens of Pipestone.
    She was preceded in death by her father.
